YOU couldn’t wipe the smile from the face of three-year-old Reggie Mansfield last week.

The youngster was basking in her great grandmother Irene Gotts’ arms as part of National Family Day Care Week.

She was one of 12 littlies who visited the elderly at Bupa, Echuca on Thursday.

Bambini Child Care Services area co-ordinator Vicki Street said the group visits monthly for a play session.

‘‘The theme of the week was ‘Every child is a star’ so that’s what we based the day around,’’ she said.

And that’s what every child, in the eyes of the Bupa residents, were — stars.
