ECHUCA RSL wants to make a vital difference for Anzac Day.
Selling a range of Anzac Appeal badges and memorabilia at stalls across town, they’re hoping to give back to those who have served our country and honour those who have paid the highest price.
But they need your support.
‘‘Funds raised go towards Anzac House, which helps any veterans in hardship and supports those in aged care,’’ he said. ‘‘If there’s any way we can help, we do.’’
Chalking a record year last year with $15,000 raised, Echuca RSL appeals officer John Lindhe said they were hoping for similarly positive results this year. The memorabilia includes pens, bracelets, pins, bears, hats and mugs.
Stalls are stationed out the front of Echuca Lucky Lotto, the post office on Pakenham St, Woolworths and Big W.
