THE Foundry Arts Space’s Off with their Heads exhibition opens on Friday night.

THE Foundry Arts Space’s Off with their Heads exhibition opens on Friday night.

It is a portrait competition for artworks including international celebrities, local identities and the family of artists.

Whether you love (or don’t love) the local identities there will be something for everyone to talk about.

This exhibition is going to be fun.

It begins Friday night at 6pm and can be viewed until December 3.

The competition is open to painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printing, film, sound or installation.

The Foundry was hoping to encourage entries with a new energy alongside the traditional idea of portraiture.

Everybody loves a good portrait and this is a wonderful opportunity for all artists in Echuca Moama to engage with each other.

Off With Their Heads is to be judged by Carla Fletcher, a multiple Archibald Prize finalist.

The prizes are $500 for first, $200 for people’s choice and $100 in the student section.

For more information go to emai.org.au, the Foundry Arts Space during opening hours, email thefoundry@emai.org.au or call 0429 168 424.
